The hotel offers stunning views, and the room decor is great, but the noise from passing trains and event disruptions made for a less enjoyable stay. While the staff was responsive and committed, the blocked access to the lobby and patio significantly impacted my experience. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, this may not be the best choice.
The hotel is absolutely stunning, with immaculate cleanliness and a breathtaking location by the water. However, my experience was marred by issues with noise from a nearby train, which made it difficult to get a restful night’s sleep despite the beautiful setting. While the spa and amenities were outstanding, the noise issue definitely impacted my overall satisfaction.

My stay at The Chrysalis Inn and Spa was simply wonderful! The hotel boasts a stunning location right on Bellingham Bay with beautiful views. The rooms were not only spacious but also elegantly decorated, making them quite comfortable. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond, especially Emma and Anya who were so attentive. However, the noise from the trains nearby was a bit distracting, especially for the full bay view rooms. Overall, despite the train noise, it was a perfect getaway and I can't wait to return!
